About My Little Tales

Why we built My Little Tales.

Reading together is one of the most meaningful parts of childhood. My Little Tales was created to make story time more personal, more engaging, and easier to fit into family life.

My Little Tales is built around a simple idea: children lean into reading when the adventure feels like it was made for them.

Why we started

Reading together is one of the most meaningful parts of childhood. But finding the right story at the right moment is not always easy.

Some children want adventures about dragons. Others love animals, space, mysteries, or magical worlds. Many parents spend more time searching for stories than actually reading them.

We created My Little Tales to make story time personal again, helping every child become the hero of an adventure built around their interests, imagination, and reading level.

What we believe

  • We believe children read more when stories feel personal.
  • We believe parents should stay in control.
  • We believe technology should support family reading, not compete with it.
  • We believe every child deserves the chance to see themselves as the hero of a story.

Why personalisation matters

When children recognise themselves inside a story, something changes.

The adventure feels relevant. The characters feel familiar. Reading becomes something they want to return to.

That is why every My Little Tales story is built around the child, not just a generic bedtime book.

Our mission

To help children build a lifelong love of reading through personalised stories that feel exciting, safe, and uniquely their own.

Our vision

A world where every child sees themselves as the hero of a story and develops the confidence, curiosity, and imagination that reading can inspire.

Core values

Imagination

Every child deserves stories that spark wonder and make bedtime feel magical.

Safety

Parents should feel confident about every story their child reads.

Learning

Stories should entertain first while quietly building confidence, vocabulary, and comprehension.

Inclusion

Every child deserves representation and the chance to see themselves inside an adventure.
